raspberry coulis recipe

A coulis is a thin fruit sauce, usually lightly sweetened if it is for a dessert. This one contains only raspberries and sugar to taste.

Raspberry Coulis

Ingredients
  • 1 bag of frozen raspberries
  • Powdered sugar to taste

Procedure
  1. Allow the frozen raspberries to thaw in cooler. Place in blender and puree with desired amount of powdered sugar to taste. Strain through a fine mesh sieve into a storage container and chill until ready to use.
